Sai Baba is revered by Hindus, Muslims and people of many other faiths, and his worship has spread from Shirdi to homes and temples all over the world. Much of it happens at home, without a priest: a family keeps the nine-Thursday vrat from a small booklet, sings the aarti from memory or reads a chapter of the Satcharitra on a Thursday evening.
